Our Story:

Roompaddy was founded by Max Willems & Appah Prince; who became close friends during university and then went on to start two companies together.

Whilst travelling the world together during our corporate travels, we became increasingly dissatisfied with expensive, lonely, anonymous hotels. As an alternative, we found out people were willing to rent their places on a nightly basis as an alternative to hotels, this was great: we could visit local spots with locals during our travels at a price that was cheaper than hotels. So we set out to create a company which will allow other travellers to enjoy the same experience we had. The result of this desire is Roompaddy.

Our aim is to make travel more social, fun, enjoyable and pleasant.

As our slogan suggests we want you the traveller to travel the world like it is your hometown and also allow people to make extra money with their free spaces whilst enjoying the social aspect of renting your places to travellers.

We are spreading this aim throughout the world, starting from London to the rest of Europe, North and South America, Australia, Africa and Asia.
